Have you ever gone through a seemingly never-ending rough patch personally, and decided to treat yourself – only to get really carried away and go a bit silly? That happened to me last week. And I have mixed feelings about it. I love that I have new makeup stuff to play with, but at the same time I’m so disappointed in myself. I thought my willpower was stronger than that. But hey, I’m not going to beat myself up about it. We all make mistakes from time to time, it’s human nature.
But for now, I have a wish list of things that I want to try. Maybe I just won’t buy them all at once? Haha. But seriously, if you have any products that you’d like to suggest, hit me up!
I’ve heard absolutely wonderful things about this concealer! All the beauty gurus I know of praise this product. And I feel like I’m developing FOMO or something because I haven’t gotten around to trying it out for myself. From what I’ve seen, it has amazing coverage, and you get a generous amount from the tube. But what sold me on it was the variety of colours that it comes in. There’s nothing worse than discovering a killer foundation or concealer, only to discover that it’s only available in three shades. Yeah, no thanks…
I can’t get enough of the NARS Laguna bronzer. It’s super easy to blend out, and the colour payoff is to-die-for. I’ve never tried the Orgasm blush though. But who doesn’t love two products in one? This is definitely a must-try for me.
Sadly, this hasn’t hit Australian shores yet. But the moment it does, I’m all over it. This looks like an incredibly versatile palette, with a touch of pink. I have really high hopes for this, if it’s like it’s palette predecessors. Sweet Peach and Chocolate Bar… I’m looking at you!
To be completely honest, I’m not really that into brow products. I’m blessed to have naturally full eyebrows, so I never felt the need to get into all of the brow products on the market. But I’ve heard so many great things about the Brow Wiz. The tiny retractable tip looks like it would be fantastic for filling in bare patches or over-tweezed eyebrows.
And seeing as I’ve decided to do my own eyebrows now, I may actually need this one day…
The one thing I currently lack in my makeup arsenal is a stick foundation. I’ve had my eye on this one for a little while, and everytime I see Lauren Curtis use it in one of her videos, it makes me want it even more. Being a stick foundation, the coverage looks to be really full (which is the way I like it), and I believe this also comes in a wide variety of shades. Sign me up!
As much as I love the high-end stuff, sometimes it’s not budget friendly – especially in Australia, where even drugstore & chemist cosmetics are still quite pricey! But in my opinion, NYX is absolutely worth it. The Wonder Stick is definitely on my list for my next Priceline splurge.
For contouring novices like myself, this is a perfect product to start with. It’s relatively inexpensive, so once you’ve got the skill down pat, you can move on to the more higher end stuff. I find that creams are much easier to blend out, compared to powders, so this also allows for a bit of error, being cream based.
I can’t say I’ve tried INNOXA products, but I can say that I’m curious to do so. This primer looks interesting. If you have tried it, please let me know how you find it.
There are many more things I’d love to try, but I’ll leave it at that for now. But I’d love to know what’s on your wishlist. Just comment below, or ask me oon Facebook or Twitter.
